1. The government of the Republic of Korea expresses deep regret over the fact that leaders of the government and the National Diet of Japan have once again sent offerings to the Yasukuni Shrine which glorifies Japan’s history of war of aggression and enshrines war criminals.

2. The ROK government strongly urges responsible leaders of Japan to live up to the demands for future-oriented development of the ROK-Japan relations by facing history squarely and demonstrating their humble reflection and sincere remorse for Japan’s past history through action, as the new Cabinet has been launched in Japan.
