Expert Meeting on the Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation

1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea and the UNDP Seoul Policy Center co-hosted the Expert Meeting on the Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation (GPEDC) on March 14-15, 2019 in Seoul.

2. The objective of the Meeting was to seek strategic direction for the way forward   for the GPEDC and collect input on the biannual Busan Global Partnership Forum to be held in Seoul in the second half of this year.

3. Approximately 20 experts from both the government and academic sectors of various countries including Korea, the Philippines, Bangladesh, South Africa, Senegal, and Switzerland participated actively in various discussions.
