ROK-Mekong Youth Group workshop

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea invites aspiring young individuals from Korea and the five Mekong countries (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam) to participate in the 「2023 Mekong-ROK Youth Group Workshop」, which will be held on August 1 (Tue) - 4(Fri).
The workshop will be a great chance for the young generations of Korea and the five Mekong countries to foster mutual understanding and friendship.

ㅇ Event Outline
- Date: August 1 (Tue) ~ 4 (Fri), 2023
- Location: Seoul Swiss Grand Hotel
- Participants: Graduate students of Korean or Mekong(Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam) nationality
- Program Language: English
ㅇ Qualification for Application
- Undergraduate or graduate students of Korean or Mekong (Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam) nationality who are interested in the promotion of cooperation between Korea and the Mekong region
- Individuals capable of discussing and presenting in English
- Individuals who can participate in the entire schedule including pre-orientation

- Document Result Announcement: June 21 (Wed) 18:00
- Interview: June 26-27 (Mon to Tue) *video interview
- Final Announcement: June 28 (Wed) 18:00

August 3rd (Thu) ~ August 4th (Fri) | Group discussion and presentation (Mekong-ROK Cooperation Fund(MKCF) project proposal), Dialogue with Diplomats from Mekong countries in Korea, Closing ceremony |
ㅇ Participant Benefits
- Roundrtip airline ticket (for foreign residents), accommodation provided (three nights, maximum of four nights according to area of residence and flight schedule), meals, transportation expenses (train, express bus fare)
- Certificate of completion under the name of the Minister of Foreign Affairs
