2025 UN Sending States Exchange Camp Application Opened (due date : April 15th)

 2025 Youth Peace Camp(Korean War veterans’ Descendants)


Overview

Period: June 6 (Fri) - June 12 (Thurs) 2025

The number of Participants: 150(100 students and descendants of UN Sending States(70 Recruited), 10 non-Korean students studying in Korea, 40 Korean students) 


* If the number of applicants exceeds the quota, each Embassy will autonomously priortize applicants, and inform us of the result. Those who are not selected will be placed in a waiting pool and may be additionally selected in case of vacancies. 


Eligibility and Requirements

 Korean War veterans’ grandchildren who are attending, or have been admitted to attend universities or colleges (including graduate schools) with good academic performance, no criminal/misconduct records, and recommended by their school, Embassy, or KWVA.  

* Those who are capable of speaking English.


Financial Support

- All expenses incurred during the Camp, such as accomodations and meals, will be fully covered (excluding airfare and those incurred during the pre/post-camp stay in Korea)


Timeline

Registration deadline: April 17, 2025

Notification of Selected participants: April 25, 2025 

* If necessary, additional selection and notification would be done by April 30, 2025

When you submit your finalized application, please send it to sfkoreancg2@mofa.go.kr  by April 15th to make it forwarded to Korea. You can also directly send it to Mr. Choi in Korea to his email hoskims@korea.kr
