The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) held a launch ceremony for the 2026 KOREAZ Supporters Cohort and a kick-off event for the 2026 Digital Global Campaign “YouthFULL Tomorrow” on Friday, April 10, 2026.

※ KOREAZ is the Ministry’s English‑language digital public diplomacy platform, active on the following social media sites: YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and X. KOREAZ produces digital content to inform international audiences about Korea’s foreign policy, knowledge, and culture. As of March 2026, the channel has amassed a total of 1.75 million subscribers.

※ “YouthFULL Tomorrow”: The term “YouthFULL” combines “Youth” and “Full,” symbolizing a future (Tomorrow) shaped by young people.

The 2026 cohort comprises 40 members, 20 Korean nationals and 20 foreign nationals representing 18 countries, who were selected through a competitive process. This marks an expansion in both the size and the diversity of the group compared with last year.

KOREAZ Supporters will cover major diplomatic events, produce digital public diplomacy content both individually and as part of teams, and create video materials for the digital global campaign YouthFULL Tomorrow and other online and offline initiatives.

In his welcoming remarks, Lim Sang-woo, Ambassador and Deputy Minister for Public Diplomacy, praised the Supporters and announced the commencement of this year’s digital global campaign. Drawing on his experience as Ambassador to Madagascar, where he personally used social media to communicate with local audiences, he underscored the importance of leveraging digital platforms for diplomatic outreach.

The Ambassador introduced the campaign theme, “YouthFULL Tomorrow,” urging digitally native youth to discover Korea’s hidden charms and showcase them to the world as key agents of public diplomacy.

The Ambassador and the Supporters watched a promotional video for the campaign featuring Cha Joon‑hwan, a Korean figure skating star, and an AI‑produced clip created in partnership with a Korean AI company, deepening their understanding of the campaign’s message. The ceremony also featured a “time capsule for the future” event, symbolizing the launch of the campaign.

Throughout 2026, the Ministry will promote “YouthFULL Tomorrow” through a variety of digital activities, including a content contest (Ministerial Award), an AR game challenge, and social media challenges. By encouraging youth participation and expanding collaboration with Korean AI firms, the Ministry aims to advance the national agenda of “Diplomacy Together with the People” and broaden the base of youth‑led digital public diplomacy.
