President of the UN General Assembly to Meet Heads of State and Foreign Ministers During the General 
Debate of the 56th Session of the United Nations General Assembly from November 10 to 16, 2001, 
President of the 56th Session of the UN General Assembly Han Seung-soo will meet with 8 heads of state, 
including U.S. President George W. Bush, 31 foreign ministers and 5 representatives of international 
organizations. He will take these opportunities to discuss with them major bilateral and international issues 
of interest. President Han will meet with President George W. Bush on November 10, and also meet with 
presidents of Pakistan and Slovenia; prime ministers of Mongolia, Bulgaria, Mauritius and Bosnia-
Herzegovina; and former Japanese Prime Minister Miyazawa. He will also meet with foreign ministers from 
31 countries including China, Italy, Canada, Argentina, Austria, Egypt, Spain and Israel.
