Today, a draft statement that states action plans for the second stage was dramatically concluded through
intensive negotiations among the six parties. For now, some delegations need to take the draft back to
their home governments for approval, so we have decided to give each delegation some time to consult
with its home government and resume the talks after two days to adopt the statement. The statement will
be officially adopted after two days when the Six-Party Talks are resumed, therefore we can not make the
draft public until then. At present, it is a document lacking approvals of the home governments, hence it
should be treated as a tentative agreement by the heads of delegations.
