I am Kwangsuk Lee, Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Vancouver. It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the official website of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Vancouver.

The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Vancouver has jurisdiction over Western Canada, including the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan, as well as the Yukon Territory and the Northwest Territories.

Western Canada is endowed with world-class natural resources, including natural gas, oil, coal, and vast forests. As the region plays a pivotal role in Canada's cooperation with the Indo-Pacific, Korean companies are expected to continue expanding their presence and investment in the region. In addition, approximately 110,000 members of the Korean community and Korean nationals reside in Western Canada, making valuable contributions to their local communities and to the continued development of Korea–Canada relations.

The Consulate General will continue to make every effort to protect the rights and interests of our Korean community and to provide effective consular protection for Korean nationals. At the same time, we will actively strengthen practical cooperation between Korea and Western Canada across a wide range of fields, including the economy, trade, culture, academic exchanges, tourism, and sports. We are also committed to contributing to the development of the Korean community and supporting the activities of Korean companies and businesses in the region.
