Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Vancouver

In celebration of the 2024-2025 Korea-Canada Year of Cultural Exchanges, the Korea-Canada joint musical 'R;Link,' which highlights the Battle of Gapyeong and ice hockey, was successfully presented.

The performance was co-produced by Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange, Hanyang University, Capilano University, University of Saskatchewan, and First Nations University of Canada.

Approximately 300 people attended the performance, including Senator Yonah Martin, BC MLA Paul Choi, BC Minister of Tourism Anne Kang, students from Capilano University, and Deputy Consul General Youngjae Jang.

The performance provided an opportunity to honour the shared history of Korea and Canada and to reaffirm the friendship between the two countries.
