Hosting a Memorial Service for the Repatriation of the Remains of the Independence Activist Deok-yoon Kim

On August 8, Friday, at 10:30 a.m., the Korean Consulate in Vancouver hosted a memorial service for the repatriation of the remains of the independence activist Deok-yoon Kim (1919–2006) at Kearney Columbia-Bowell Chapel in New Westminster, attended by his bereaved family members and leaders of Korean organizations such as Korean Society of BC, Korean War Veterans Association of Western Canada, Vietnam War Veterans Association, Korean Veterans Association Western Canada Chapter, and National Unification Advisory Council.
