Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Vancouver

On Saturday, April 26, Consul General Jongho Kyun attended a Korean schools get together event 'Let's play with Hangeul!' hosted by the Korean Canadian Schools Association of Western Region(KCSAWR). Held every two years, the "Harmony Festival" is one of the most prominent community events, with around 1,500 students and parents from 10 Korean schools participating.

Consul General Kyun, in his congratulatory speech, emphasized that learning the Korean language has become a competitive advantage for students in today’s world, and he encouraged them to take greater pride in being Korean and to show more interest in studying the language.
