Consul General Jongho Kyun gave a lecture on Korea-Canada relations, North Korea issues, and Korea-Alberta relations at the Canadian International Council Calgary Branch on Thursday, September 5th, at the University of Calgary.
The lecture was attended by about 80 people, including members of the consular corps, professors, researchers, and st udents from Calgary. There was a lot of interest and engagement, with questions regarding the potential policy changes in Korea-Canada relations following Canada's election, the impact of evolving Russia-North Korea relations on the Korean Peninsula, and the factors contributing to smaller amount of Canadian investment in Korea compared to Korean investment in Canada.
