On Thursday, May 16, the Korean Consulate in Vancouver held the Working Holiday Meeting in Calgary with approximately 30 participants of the Working Holiday program.
Consul General Jongho Kyun, in his welcoming remarks, emphasized that cooperation between Korea and Canada has been further strengthened this year, significantly expanding the number of participants, duration of stay and age range for the Working Holiday program. He specifically urged participants visiting Calgary to prioritize their health and safety while making the most of their experiences.
The meeting featured three speakers and they delivered lectures on topics such as safety and drug-related precautions, legal information regarding employment and renting, and visa information, followed by a Q&A session.
