Embassy of the Republic of Korea to Canada

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea hosted the 2025 Embassy Speaker Series under the theme “Security Challenges in the Arctic and Implications on North Pacific Security.” on August 21.

The Embassy has organized annual Embassy Speaker Series as part of its annual public diplomacy. Mr. Alexander Dalziel, Senior Fellow at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute (MLI), and Mr. Calvin Chrustie, Founder of the Critical Risk Team (CRT), participated as this year event's guest speakers.

With the participation of key figures from Global Affairs Canada, academia, and other sectors, the event provided an opportunity to discuss the security challenges Canada faces in the Arctic region and Korea’s diplomatic engagement in the Arctic.
