Today, the Korean Embassy proudly hosted a solemn and meaningful Battle of Kapyong Commemorative Ceremony in Ottawa in honor of the brave soldiers who fought in one of the most significant battles of the Korean War. With 80 attendees gathered in remembrance, we laid 17 wreaths to the courage and sacrifice of Canadian and 5 nations' troops; Australia, India, New Zealand, UK, and USA. who stood together in defense of peace and freedom during the Battle of Kapyong and other organizations as well. We remember. We honor. We are grateful.
