Information about Issuing VISA

Entry requirements for foreigners

Valid passport (can be substituted by seaman’s identification certificate for seaman)

• ●Those with expired passports will not be allowed to enter the country

Valid visa

• ●Entry must be made prior to the visa’s expiration date. In addition, entry may be denied, should the purpose of the visit is deemed not to match the visa type.

Must not to fall into the prohibited entry category

• ●Those that are classified as international terrorists, former illegal immigrants, or other such categories are forbidden from entering Korea.

Visiting Korea without visa

Omani Citizen is allowed to visit Korea without a visa for the purpose of visiting and transit for a period not exceeding 30 days. And must obtain the appropriate visa if he/she may stay in Korea for a period exceeding 30 days.

Required documents to apply for a visa

Business Visa

• ●One photo (size 4x6)

• ●The original passport with at least 6 months validity

• ●A fill-out visa application form http://overseas.mofa.go.kr/om-en/brd/m_11048/view.do?seq=760169&srchFr=&srchTo=&srchWord=&srchTp=&multi_itm_seq=0&itm_seq_1=0&itm_seq_2=0&company_cd=&company_nm=&page=1

• ●A covering letter from the government institution/company in Oman (in English)

• ●An invitation letter from the Korean company that the applicant intends to deal with

• ●Certificate of business registration from the company in Korea

• ●Air ticket booking/ Hotel booking

• ●ID copy/ Oman Visa page copy(except for Omani citizen)

Tourism Visa

• ●One photo (size 4x6)

• ●The original passport with at least 6 months validity

• ●A covering letter from the government institution/company in Oman (in English)

• ●Bank statement for the last 6 months

• ●Air ticket booking/ Hotel booking

• ●Travel schedule(plan) in Korea

• ●ID copy/ Oman Visa page copy(except for Omani citizen)

Visa Fees

• ●Single visa for a period not exceeding 90 days=15.5 R.O=40USD

• ●Single visa for a period exceeding 90 days = 23.2 R.O = 60 USD

• ●Multiple visa = 34.7 R.O = 90 USD

• ●Visa processing duration: 7 working days
