[For Bahrainis]

1. Bahrainis and other GCC nationals are highly recommended not to apply for the visa but to apply for K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization) through website for short-term trips (for Bahrainis and Saudis maximum of 30 days) to Korea

- Website : www.k-eta.go.kr

- Time for the issuance : Normally within 72 hours from application (According to the circumstances, the processing time for K-ETA issuance can be prolonged beyond 72 hours so that it is recommended to apply before 1 week ahead of your departure)

- Cost : 10,000 WON (Approximately 9 USD)

- Term of validity : Multiple short-term trips over a period of three years or until your passport expires(whichever comes first)

2. In order to enter Korea, your passport must be valid for another six months before you depart for the trip to Korea.

[For Expats]

1. For nationals of other than the 104 eligible countries for K-ETA (check www.k-eta.go.kr for the eligibility), he/she should apply visa through the Embassy.

2. For the following nationalities enlisted below, it is required to prove his/her stay of more than 2 years of stay without interruption in Bahrain in order to apply for the visa in Korean Embassy in Bahrain. Otherwise, you should apply for the visa in your own native country.

- China, Philippines, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Mongolia, Thailand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Iran, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt, Peru, Syria, Sudan, Macedonia, Kosovo, Cuba, Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Cameroon, Somalia, Gambia and Senegal

3. Required Documents for Business Visas

Original passport and passport copy & Bahrain residence permit copy
Application form and one photograph(Passport size)
Invitation letter from the company or other organizations in Korea
A copy of the inviting company's registration
A guarantee letter from the inviting company
A letter from the company in Bahrain describing the purpose of the visit to Korea and a Company License Copy

4. Required Documents for Tourist Visas

Original passport and passport copy & Bahrain residence permit copy
Application form and one photograph(Passport size)
A company letter in Bahrain describing the applicant's position in the company and monthly salary & A copy of the company license
Recent bank statements for the last three months
Round-trip (Bahrain-Korea) Flight Ticket
Hotel Reservation Confirmation
"Travel Plan/Schedule" in Korea

※ For the confidence, the bank balance should show consistency and stay over 3,000BHD

※ Unstable visa status will be taken into consideration

5. For Official Purpose Visit

The official letter from Korean governmental offices and agencies that states the purpose of visit and the details of the visitors is prerequisite and the visitors should own diplomatic/official passport.
