The Academy of Korean Studies(AKS) which is funded and administered by the Korean government is now seeking for applications for 2024 Global Korea Scholarship(GKS).

1. Programs Offered and Period of Scholarship
- Master’s degree : 3 years (1 year of Korean language program + 2 years of degree program)
- Doctoral degree : 4 years (1 year of Korean language program + 3 years of degree program)

2. Available Fields of Study (4 Divisions with 13 Majors for Master’s degree / 12 Majors for Doctoral degree
- (Division) Humanities / (Major) Korean History, Diplomatic and Bibliography, Philosophy, Korean Linguistics•Korean Literature
- (Division) Culture and Arts / (Major) Anthropology•Folklore, Religious Studies, Musicology, Art History, Cultural Informatics•Human Geography

- (Division) Social Sciences / (Major) Political Science, Sociology, Education
- (Division) Global Korean Studies / (Major) Korean Cultural Studies (Only available for a Master’s degree program)
