The following information is provided regarding the payment of veterans' benefits in the first half of 2024. If you are receiving veterans' benefits and have not received a notification letter, please print out the notification form from the website and report it.

1. Eligibility

- National (independence) meritorious persons and their survivors, war veterans, and patients with defoliant aftereffects who are receiving veterans' benefits overseas (including permanent residents living in Korea and those who have lost their nationality).

2. Print out the notification form

Forms will be provided when you visit the Consulate General in Seattle.

3. Submit the first half of the 2024 biometric report

- Deadline: Only for those who arrive at the jurisdictional Veterans Affairs office within the deadline for each tier

   1st: ~ May 20 (Mon)

   2nd: ~ June 20 (Thu)

- How to submit: Notarized at the overseas diplomatic mission and submitted electronically

4. Overseas Compensation Payment Schedule

- (1st) June 14 (Fri) *[Only for normal arrivals (received by May 20)].

- (2nd) July 15 (Mon) *[~Only for cases with normal arrival by June 20].
