


Consul General Chang, Sung Gil of the Republic of Korea in Seattle visited the Korean War Veterans Memorial in Olympia, Washington, on Friday, July 24, as his first official engagement upon his arrival in the United States. During the visit, he laid a wreath and paid tribute to the Korean War veterans, expressing his deepest gratitude and respect for their noble sacrifice and dedication in defending freedom and peace.
Consul General Chang remarked that it is a great honor and privilege to assume his new post as Consul General in Seattle. He also expressed his commitment to actively engaging with the Korean community and strengthening cooperation with local communities through various opportunities during his tenure.
