


The Korean Education Center in Seattle(Seattle Office of Korean Education) (@kecseattle_official) has reopened near downtown Bellevue after 26 years. At the grand opening ceremony on April 24, leaders from the Korean American community, officials from the Korean Ministry of Education, and the Superintendents in Bellevue, Tacoma, Federal way attended to celebrate the milestone.
Consul General SEO Eunji (@eunji.0615) expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Korean American community for their dedication toward reopening the Center. She shared her hopes that Seattle Office of Korean Education will become a hub for nurturing future generations and expanding Korean language education. Director Hayoo Kyung also conveyed congratulatory remarks on behalf of Minister Juho Lee, emphasizing that this remarkable achievement was made possible through the combined efforts of the Korean community and the Korean government.
Director Yongwook Lee presented the Center’s future plans through a video, outlining the Center’s vision to serve as a vibrant hub for heritage education, lifelong learning, and cultural exchange for everyone interested in Korean language and culture.
