Consul General Youngwan Kim attended the 25th Valley Youth Olympics, organized by the Valley Korean Parent Association and the Student Council. The event was also attended by notable figures including Los Angeles City Councilmember John Lee, LA County Supervisor Lindsey Horvath, and LAUSD Board of Education President Scott Schmerelson.

Consul General Kim emphasized that the Youth Olympics serves as an important platform for fostering community unity, strengthening the identity of young people, and promoting cultural exchange. He expressed his gratitude to the Valley Korean Parent Association and the Korean community for hosting the event. He also shared his hopes that the youth would grow with resilience and strength, grounded in their identity, while contributing positively to their community.
