Consul General Youngwan Kim presented the Presidential Citation for Meritorious Contributions to National Educational Development to Monica Ryu, Chair of the Korean Language Promotion Foundation, in recognition of her contributions to the expansion of the Korean language, including the establishment and dissemination of Korean language classes, as well as the development and distribution of Korean language textbooks. The award ceremony was held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 16:00 in the main conference room of the Consulate General.
