ㅇ Notarial Certificate of the Legal representative (or Certificates of Personal Signature, Electronic Certificate of Personal Signature)

ㅇ Documents that can verify family or kinship relationships, such as a minor's Certificate of Identification or Certificate of Family Relation.

※ If verification is possible through Public Information Sharing System(ex: Government 24), submission is not required.

△ Additional requirement for a legal representative 

ㅇ Government issued ID of the visiting legal representative (valid passport or Korean driver's license)

△ Additional requirements for a sibling applying on behalf

ㅇ Power of attorney legal representative

ㅇ Identification card of the visiting sibling

ㅇ Identification card(or a copy) of the proxy (legal representative)

ㅇ (Age: 8 and older) Multiple passport, Valid for 5 years: 58 pages($42) or 26 pages($39)
ㅇ (Age: Under 8) Multiple passport, Valid for 5 years: 58 pages($33) or 26 pages($30)

1-3. Who has not completed Korean military service yet (Age 18 - 37)

 ○ Multiple passport, Valid for 5 years: 58 pages($42) or 26 pages($39)

□ Notice (for people who have not completed Korean military service yet)

ㅇ If you’re 25 or older and have not completed Korean military service(or are currently serving in supplementary or alternative service) yet, Permission for Overseas Travel from the Military Manpower Administration is required in order to travel overseas.

ㅇ For those who have not received Permission for Overseas Travel or are staying abroad beyond the permitted period, an order to turn in the passport immediately will be issued by the Military Manpower Administration. If one does not comply, one’s passport will be invalidated.

2. Notes

ㅇ Be sure to apply in advance considering the time required for passport issuance (reissue) takes 3 to 4 weeks.

ㅇ  If you wish to receive passport by mail, bring USPS Priority envelope with stamp and tracking number.

ㅇ  If you need your passport urgently, you can apply for DHL Express delivery service (takes about 1 week)
ㅇ If you have been issued an electronic passport previously, you can apply for your passport (reissue) online ( https://www.g4k.go.kr ) 

※  However, ▵Minors under 18 ▵First-time electronic passport applicants ▵Diplomat/Official/Emergency passport applicants must visit the Consulate Office to apply
