On August 30 (Saturday), Ambassador Seok-in Hong and his spouse attended the 2025 Hamel Day event and the 10th anniversary celebration of the Hamel Museum, hosted by the Hamel Foundation, and delivered congratulatory remarks.

The Hamel Foundation has organized the annual Hamel Day event to promote cultural exchange between Korea and the Netherlands, and in 2025 the Hamel Museum, operated by the Foundation, marked its 10th anniversary.

In addition, the Foundation highlighted during the event that, since October 2024, the Hamel Museum has been accessible with the Museumkaart, expressing expectations that this will contribute to an increase in visitor numbers.
