C-4-5: SHORT-TERM EMPLOYMENT VISA
n Period of stay: 90 days or less
n Single-entry visa valid for 3 months
Eligible Applicants:
A person who intends to visit Korea for 90 days or less to provide services (e.g., technical support, installation or
maintenance of machinery, training, etc.), including those dispatched under service provision agreements,
purchase contracts, business orders, or similar arrangements for the installation and repair of imported machinery,
and for the manufacturing and supervision of shipbuilding and industrial facilities.
This includes individuals performing practical or hands-on services, even if they do not receive maintenance
expenses from Korea. However, simple labor jobs are not eligible for this visa.
This applies whether remuneration or maintenance expenses (e.g., accommodation costs) are paid by the inviting company
in Korea or the employer in Malaysia, based on a contract between them.
It also includes professional athletes, musicians, or competition participants receiving monetary compensation from the
organizer (regardless of results). However, if the prize is awarded only to the winner, a C-3-1 visa will be issued,
and eligible applicants must apply for K-ETA instead of a visa.
Select the appropriate category based on your purpose of visit to Korea.
