The 107th Independence Movement Day Commemoration Ceremony was held on March 1 at the auditorium of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Hong Kong. About 70 participants, including representatives from Korean community organizations and students from the Korean International School, attended the event.

The ceremony included the reading of the Declaration of Independence, the President’s commemorative address, the March 1st song, and traditional cheers of “Mansei.” Participants honored the spirit of the Independence Movement and reaffirmed their love for the nation.

In addition, the Chairman’s Commendation of the National Unification Advisory Council was presented to Advisor Mr. Yoon-Bae Jung.

The event concluded with an award ceremony for winners of the “We Love the Taegeukgi (the Korean national flag)” campaign, further strengthening ties between the Consulate General and the Korean community.
