Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Hong Kong

The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Hong Kong held the 8th Korean Financiers' Networking Night event at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel located in Hong Kong ICC on December 11 (Wednesday).

The event serves as a networking platform for Korean finance professionals working in foreign and Korean financial institutions in Hong Kong, as well as groups of Korean experts in related fields such as law and accounting, and representatives of international students. Approximately 100 finance professionals attended this event, which included speeches from Consul General YOO Hyung-cheol; Mr. Joseph CHAN, Undersecretary for Financial Services and the Treasury of the Hong Kong government, and Mr. Kim Beomseok, 1st Vice Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Korea. There were also presentations by Mr. Lee Seung-geol, Executive Director of KIC on 'Overview of Sovereign Wealth Funds and KIC Investment Strategy', and Mr. Han Byeong-hak, Head of NPS Singapore, on 'Current Status and Direction of National Pension Overseas Investments.'
