The Graduate School of Korean Studies at the Academy of Korean Studies, a public institution under the Ministry of Education, will recruit new students through a special admission track for the 2026 and 2027 academic years. Applications from interested candidates are highly encouraged.

A. Targeted Program: Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree

B. Majors: 13 programs in the humanities and social sciences related to Korea

C. Scholarship

    - All international students are granted a full tuition waiver

D. Language Proficiency

    - Applicants for Korean Cultural Studies: TOEFL iBT 80, IELTS Academic 6.5, or TEPS 301

    - Applicants for programs other than Korean Cultural Studies: TOPIK Level 4 or higher
