Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Kang Insun will visit Atlanta, the United States, from October 1 to 4 for the ninth Republic of Korea-United States Senior Economic Dialogue (SED).

During the SED on October 2, Vice Minister Kang and Under Secretary for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment of the U.S. Department of State Jose W. Fernandez will review the progress in ROK-U.S. economic cooperation and discuss its way forward.

During her visit to the U.S., Vice Minister Kang will also attend the eighth ROK-U.S. Joint Public-Private Economic Forum and visit relevant sites.
