Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Choi Jong Kun will deliver welcoming remarks at the “10^th High-Level Forum on the Korea-Caribbean Partnership” to be held both online and offline on the morning of November 11.

At the upcoming Forum to be co-organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), and the Association of Caribbean States (ACS), participants will discuss ways to strengthen cooperation in public health and food security between the ROK and the Caribbean region in the post-COVID-19 era.

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Lee Taeho will deliver congratulatory remarks online on November 12 in celebration of the 3^rd Public Diplomacy Week.

At the event to be held under the theme “public diplomacy in the era of COVID-19,” Vice Minister Lee will introduce the ROK’s efforts for digital public diplomacy such as initiating the Stay Strong campaign and webinars to share disease prevention and control experiences, and stress the importance of public diplomacy for international cooperation and solidarity.
