1. The Government of the Republic of Korea has decided to provide US$200,000 in humanitarian assistance to support the Kingdom of Tonga in response to the volcanic eruption and tsunami.

2. The Korean government hopes that the assistance would be of help to the people of Tonga. Once the full extent of the damage is confirmed, Korea will consider providing additional support.
