1. Vice Minister Choi Jong Kun had a meeting with Colombian Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Francisco Echeverri on August 24 and exchanged views extensively on bilateral issues.

※ Colombian Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Echeverri is on a visit to Korea accompanying the Colombian President on the latter’s state visit to the country from August 24 to 26.

2. The two Vice Ministers noted with appreciation that the two countries have worked together to make further progress in the fields of bilateral high-level exchanges and substantive cooperation in the post-pandemic era, since Vice Minister Choi’s official visit to Colombia this April.

3. The two Vice Ministers shared the view that the Colombian President’s state visit to Korea is an important opportunity to further advance the strategic cooperative partnership, and agreed to work closely together in implementing the follow-up on the summit.
