1. Amb. Noh Kyu-duk, Special Representative for Korean Peninsula Peace and Security Affairs, will have a bilateral consultation on June 21 with Amb. Sung Kim, Special Representative for the DPRK of the United States, and discuss ways for the two countries to work together to make substantial progress in achieving complete denuclearization and establishing permanent peace on the Korean Peninsula.

※ Amb. Sung Kim will visit Seoul from June 19 to 23 for the first time after his appointment on May 21.

2. Also, Amb. Noh will have a ROK-U.S.-Japan trilateral consultation and a ROK-Japan bilateral consultation on June 21 with Mr. Funakoshi Takehiro, Director-General of the Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, who will be visiting Seoul as well.
