Foreign Minister Signs Book of Condolences for Late Former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan


Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha visited the Embassy of the Republic of Ghana in the Republic of Korea on August 23 to sign the book of condolences opened there in honor of former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, who had passed away on August 18, and to offer condolences.


※ The book of condolences is available at the Ghanaian Embassy in the ROK from August 22 till 24 for diplomats to sign.


Over the passing of former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, the ROK government expressed condolences in the message from President Moon Jae-in dated August 19 and in the Foreign Ministry Spokesperson’s statement issued on August 18.
