1. The 2022 ROK-U.S. Roundtable on Trafficking in Persons took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on December 20. 

※ The participants from the ROK were officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, the Korean National Police Agency and the Korea Coast Guard. 

※ The participants from the U.S. were officials from the U.S. Embassy in the ROK.

2. Both sides reaffirmed the importance of cooperation on combating trafficking in persons and agreed to continue to strengthen communication between the ROK and the U.S.
