1. Amb. Noh Kyu-duk, Special Representative for Korean Peninsula Peace and Security Affairs, had a telephone conversation with Mr. Takehiro Funakoshi, Director-General of the Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, on the afternoon of March 25.

2. The two sides shared concern over the short-range missile launches by North Korea, and agreed to continue close communication and cooperation between Korea and Japan as well as among Korea, the United States and Japan on North Korea issues.
