On Friday, August 7, Consul General Kwangsuk Lee  met with Calgary Mayor Jeromy Farkas and expressed his appreciation for the Mayor's continued interest in and support for cultural and community activities organized by the Korean community, including the Calgary Korean Day Festival.

Consul General Lee also expressed his hope that the sister-city relationship between Calgary, a major hub for the energy industry of the future, and Daejeon, a leading science and technology city, would continue to develop and serve as a catalyst for advancing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Korea and Canada.
