Consul General Kwangsuk Lee began his official duties with wreath-laying ceremony at the Ambassador for Peace Korean War Memorial in Burnaby's Central Park on July 28, together with members of the Korean War Veterans Association. During the ceremony, Consul General Lee expressed his profound respect and gratitude for the sacrifice and dedication of the veterans who fought in the Korean War.

In his remarks, Consul General Lee reaffirmed his commitment to actively engage and communicate with the Korean community in Western Canada as Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Vancouver, and to make every effort to advance the rights and interests of the Korean community.
