The 2026 Toronto Korean Festival (TKF) was held from August 21 to 23 at Mel Lastman Square in North York, Toronto.
The festival showcased Korea’s traditional and contemporary culture through a variety of programs, including K-POP performances, traditional Korean performances, cultural experiences, a K-BEAUTY Pavilion, and authentic Korean food.
At the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Toronto’s booth, visitors participated in an AR Game Challenge, while 1,000 Korean-language textbooks were distributed in collaboration with the Korean Education Centre Canada.
Lim Ki-mo, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Canada also attended the opening ceremony, delivered congratulatory remarks, and surprised the audience with a special performance, adding to the excitement of the festival.
The event provided a meaningful opportunity to introduce Korean culture to the Toronto community and allowed local residents to experience Korea through diverse performances and cultural activities.
