On June 18, Ambassador RYU Jeonghyun attended the opening ceremony of the special exhibition "A Dream of Peace: The Untold Story of the Korean Provisional Government", held at the Korean Cultural Center to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Korea’s liberation. This exhibition, the first of its kind in Europe, vividly presents the history of the Korean Provisional Government from 1919 to 1945 through 87 historical artifacts and AI-powered video content, drawing significant attention from visitors.
In his congratulatory remarks, Ambassador RYU highlighted the special significance of hosting such an exhibition in Brussels, the capital of Belgium and the heart of the European Union, in celebration of the 80th anniversary of liberation. He noted that key figures of the Korean Provisional Government were active not only in Belgium but also in various other European countries such as France and the United Kingdom, forming deep connections with local communities. He expressed his hope that the exhibition would serve as an opportunity to deepen public understanding of the Korean Provisional Government.
