Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Sydney

On Wednesday, 3 June 2026, the Consulate-General of the Republic of Korea in Sydney hosted the inaugural Korea–NSW Climate Change Roundtable bringing together representatives from the NSW Government, Korean companies operating in the energy and resources sectors, academia and industry experts.

The roundtable provided an opportunity to discuss practical avenues for co-operation between Korea and NSW in response to the global clean energy transition. Against the backdrop of recent disruptions to global energy supply chains caused by the conflict in the Middle East, participants exchanged views on strengthening collaboration in areas including energy supply chains, energy storage systems, renewable fuels and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
