K-ETA(Electronic Travel Authorization) Visa Free Eligible Countries(total 96 countries) (Effective from April 1st, 2022)

  From April 1, 2022 (Friday), Qatari nationals can enter Korea without a visa. However, citizens of the following 96 countries*, including Qatar, are required to apply for the Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) before entering Korea.

 

* Albania, Andorra, Barbados, Dominica, Guam, Guyana, Holy See, Ireland, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, New Caledonia, Nicaragua, Palau, Saint Kitts-Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, San Marino, Slovenia, United Kingdom, United States of America, Venezuela, Greece, Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, Latvia, Romania, Luxembourg, Lithuania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Sweden, Spain, Slovakia, Estonia, Austria, Italy, Czech Republic, Croatia, Portugal, Poland, France, Finland, Hungary, Norway, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Iceland, Singapore


* (Additional Eligible Countries) Malaysia, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Israel, , Kazakhstan, Qatar, Thailand, Turkey, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Brazil, Saint Lucia, Suriname, Haiti, Antigua and Barbuda, El Salvador, Uruguay, Jamaica, Chile,Costa Rica, Colombia, Trinidad and Tobago, Canada, Argentina, Honduras, Paraguay, Ecuador, Russia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Nauru, Marshall Islands, Fiji, Tuvalu, Australia, Republic of South Africa, Lesotho, Morocco, Mauritius, Botswana, Seychelles, Eswatini, Tunisia

 

Accordingly, nationals or citizens of the upper-mentioned 96 countries need K-ETA approval in order to obtain the boarding pass and to enter the Republic of Korea.

 

ㅇ What is K-ETA(Korea Electronic Travel Authorization)?

- K-ETA is an electronic travel authorization that visa-free foreign visitors need to obtain before entering the Republic of Korea, by submitting relevant information online such as their travel information. Purpose of travel should be tourism, visiting a family member, participating in events or meetings, or commercial business (excluding pursuit of profit). You can travel to Korea more conveniently and safely by getting your K-ETA.

 

ㅇ How to apply for K-ETA?

- Nationals or citizens of K-ETA eligible countries should apply for K-ETA through the K-ETA website(www.k-eta.go.kr) or the mobile app(K-ETA) at least 24 hours before departure.

 

ㅇ K-ETA Fee

- 10,000 KRW excluding additional fees (VAT)

 

ㅇ K-ETA Validity

- K-ETA is valid for multiple trips over a period of two years or until the passport expires, whichever comes first.
