     international community which was crucial to Korea’s economic growth. Now as a member of the

답변A) The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was inaugurated according to the Government Organization Act enacted
     by the Government of the Republic of Korea on July 17, 1948, a month before the founding of the 
     Government of the Republic of Korea on August 15, 1948. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade 
     establishes and carries out foreign policies and trade policies, engages in trade negotiations, administers 
     treaties and international agreements, protects and supports overseas Korean nationals, promotes 
     cultural cooperation, and analyzes international affairs.

답변A) The Working Holiday Program was introduced under the mutual cooperation and establishment of 
     Memorandum of Understandings (MOU) between the Republic of Korea and 6 countries (Australia, 
     Canada, France, Japan, New Zealand and U.S.) for the purpose of providing opportunities to nationals 
     from each respective country to travel to Korea, while allowing them to earn and save money through
