Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Lee Taeho will attend a Conference on Sustaining Support for the Rohingya Refugee Response on October 22.

At the conference, which will be held to draw up a comprehensive and sustainable solution for the Rohingya refugees and their host countries, Vice Minister Lee will mention that the international community, including the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the People's Republic of Bangladesh, should work together in responding to the humanitarian crisis that has deteriorated further due to COVID-19, and will state the commitment of the government of the Republic of Korea to participate and contribute actively to that end.
