Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Lee Taeho will deliver opening remarks at the “MIKTA Academic Dialogue” to be held in a virtual format on September 18.

The Republic of Korea led the establishment of the MIKTA Academic Network in 2015, and the upcoming dialogue is expected to serve as a forum for exchanges and cooperation among key researchers from five MIKTA countries.

In his opening remarks, Vice Minister Lee will stress the importance of multilateral cooperation system, including MIKTA, in overcoming the global health crisis.
