Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Kang, Kyung-wha will hold a video conference regarding response to the COVID-19 outbreak with the heads of the Republic of Korea’s major diplomatic missions in Europe on March 17.

Minister Kang and the heads of diplomatic missions will review the COVID-19 situation, including the spread of the virus in Europe and restrictions of movement, and discuss ways to protect Korean nationals overseas and to cooperate and collaborate with countries in the region.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while closely watching the impact of the expansion of various restrictive measures across the world on people-to-people exchanges and economic activities, is continuing efforts to respond to it.
