Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Lee Tae-ho will attend the 2^nd Interregional Cooperation Forum between the Republic of Korea (ROK) and the Russian Federation set to take place in Vladivostok, Russia, tomorrow, September 6.

The Forum will cover ways to expand trade and investment, substantive cooperation, and people-to-people exchanges between provincial governments of the two countries. As such, it is expected to contribute to strengthening comprehensive exchanges and cooperation between provincial governments of the two countries.

The Forum, launched pursuant to agreement between the Presidents of the ROK and Russia, was first held in Pohang in November 2018.
