Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Lee Tae-ho will meet with a delegation from the United States led by the Washington Times at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on May 15.

The delegation consists of 14 people, including former US Representative Dan Burton, former CIA Director James Woolsey, former Special Envoy for the Six-Party Talks Joseph DeTrani, and Senior Research Fellow Bruce Klingner at the Heritage Foundation.

In the meeting, Vice Minister Lee will listen to their opinions on the situation on the Korean Peninsula and major issues between the Republic of Korea and the United States, and explain the ROK’s positions.
