Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

Vice Foreign Minister Lee Tae-ho, together with the Ambassador to the Republic of Korea from Georgia, will sign “an ROK-Georgia framework arrangement concerning loans from the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF)” at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on January 31.

The arrangement will allow the Georgian government to apply for the ROK government’s EDCF loans. The ROK government, on its part, through EDCF loan projects, will support Georgia’s efforts to achieve economic and social development, and will seek to enhance its friendly and cooperative relations with the country.
